ASY-05788The inverter drawer converts DC power to high-frequency AC to drive the high-voltage multiplier. It works in tandem with the multiplier drawer (ASY-05340) to produce the X-ray tube driving voltage. Symptoms include overheating warnings, power irregularities during exposure, system shutdowns during long imaging sessions, and erratic generator behavior. Typical replacement every 5–7 years. Requires a qualified field service engineer. Often inspected alongside the multiplier drawer during PM visits. Often inspected or replaced alongside: ASY-05340.
