GE SenoClaire 3D Mammography System
GE digital breast tomosynthesis with nine-exposure step-and-shoot acquisition, low-dose 3D imaging and ASiR DBT reconstruction.

The GE SenoClaire 3D mammography system is a digital breast tomosynthesis platform designed to separate overlapping breast tissue while maintaining a low-dose acquisition. Its short step-and-shoot sweep captures nine projections and brings 3D capability to the proven Senographe platform.
Step-and-shoot tomosynthesis
Unlike systems that expose while the tube is moving, SenoClaire stops the tube for each projection. This step-and-shoot motion helps preserve microcalcification sharpness and reduce motion blur throughout the reconstructed image set.
Low-dose detector performance
The detector is engineered for high detective quantum efficiency at low dose and visualizes microcalcifications without pixel binning. A dedicated anti-scatter solution for tomosynthesis reduces scattered radiation while preserving imaging performance.
Reconstruction and reading workflow
- Nine-exposure digital breast tomosynthesis acquisition
- ASiR DBT iterative reconstruction with calcification artifact correction
- Dedicated 2D and 3D hanging protocols on compatible workstations
- DICOM output for integration with major PACS environments
